Intangible cultural values are an important and diverse feature of Champa culture. There are more than 100 festivals of the Cham per year. Among them, Kate Festival in 7th month in Cham calendar is the biggest and most highlighting one. The festival is held every year to pays homage and sends thanks to deities and local gods for their blessings, such as favorable weather, bumper crops and social harmony.
Coming to Kate Festival, you will have chance to see beautiful folkdance, music and traditional instruments of the Cham. You can also discover the unique spiritual life and special customs of Champa people.
